FIRST SOUTHERN LIVING HOTEL TO OPEN IN TUSCALOOSA

Meredith Corporation’s (NYSE: MDP, http://www.meredith.com/) Southern Living announces the launch of Southern Living Hotels, a new hotel brand that is set to debut its first property in Tuscaloosa, AL in 2022. Southern Living Hotels, developed by Southern Living in partnership with the Lifestyle + Hotel Group through a licensing agreement, will provide an immersive new way for consumers to experience the Southern Living brand. Set on 37+ acres encompassing over 2,500 linear feet of waterfront, the brand’s first hotel in Tuscaloosa will be located on Rice Mine Road overlooking the Black Warrior River and the University of Alabama campus.

BIRMINGHAM, AL –  September X, 2019 – A new collection of hotels based on the iconic Southern Living media brand will soon begin development throughout the southern region of the U.S. Created by Lifestyle + Hotel Group in partnership with Southern Living. Each of the collection’s boutique hotels will embrace the Southern Living lifestyle - from unmatched hospitality to regionally inspired cuisine.
